Potassium Bromruthenate, K2RuBr6






Potassium Bromruthenate, K2RuBr6, is obtained by passing a current of bromine vapour through a concentrated solution of potassium aquobromruthenate cooled to 0° C. A precipitate of minute crystals is obtained, octahedral in shape, and very soluble in water.
